General
Stridevox is an AI-powered fitness assistant that connects to your Garmin watch. It lets you chat with AI about your training data, view analytics dashboards, track personal records, and even create workouts that get sent directly to your watch.
Stridevox works with any Garmin device that syncs with Garmin Connect. This includes the Forerunner, Fenix, Venu, Vivoactive, and Enduro series, among others. If your watch syncs data to Garmin Connect, it works with Stridevox.
Yes, a Garmin device is required since Stridevox pulls data from Garmin Connect. We plan to support other platforms in the future, but currently Garmin is the only supported device ecosystem.
The interface is fully available in English, French, and Spanish. The AI chat can respond in any language you write in, so you can interact naturally in your preferred language.
AI & Chat
Stridevox uses open-source AI models hosted exclusively in Switzerland by Infomaniak — your data never leaves Swiss borders. On managed plans, we select the best model for your tier. BYOK users can connect their own API key from any compatible provider.
When you chat, relevant fitness data is included in the conversation context so the AI can give personalized answers. On managed plans, this data is processed by Infomaniak AI in Switzerland — it never leaves Swiss infrastructure. BYOK users' data is sent to their chosen provider. No data is shared outside of your chat conversations.
BYOK lets you use your own API key from any supported AI provider instead of using our managed AI infrastructure. This gives you full control over model selection and usage, and reduces your subscription cost since you pay the AI provider directly.
Yes! Plus and Pro plans include WhatsApp integration. Link your phone number in settings, and you can chat with your AI coach directly from WhatsApp. All conversations sync back to the web app.
Garmin Integration
Go to Settings in the app and enter your Garmin Connect email and password. Stridevox connects securely to Garmin Connect and starts syncing your data. If you have MFA enabled, you'll be prompted for a verification code.
Yes. Your Garmin credentials are encrypted using Fernet symmetric encryption (AES-128-CBC + HMAC-SHA256) before being stored. They are never stored in plain text and are only decrypted when needed to sync data.
Stridevox syncs activities (running, cycling, swimming, etc.), sleep data, daily summaries (steps, calories, stress, Body Battery), heart rate data, and GPS routes. Data syncs automatically in the background.
Pricing & Billing
The Explorer (free) plan includes 5 AI messages per day, 3 chart types, and 30 days of activity history. You still get Garmin auto-sync, GPS maps, dashboard, and 2FA. It's a great way to try Stridevox before upgrading.
Yes! All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime during the trial period without being billed.
Absolutely. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. We also offer a refund policy for recent charges. See our refund policy for details.
BYOK plans cost about 40% less than managed plans because you pay the AI provider directly. Plus BYOK is CHF 5.99/mo (vs CHF 9.99) and Pro BYOK is CHF 11.99/mo (vs CHF 19.99). You pay for your own AI API usage separately.
Privacy & Security
All sensitive data (Garmin credentials, API keys) is encrypted using Fernet symmetric encryption (AES-128-CBC + HMAC-SHA256). User passwords are hashed with Argon2, the winner of the Password Hashing Competition.
Yes. You can enable TOTP-based two-factor authentication in your account settings. This works with any authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.). Backup codes are provided in case you lose access to your authenticator.
Your data is stored on secure European servers (Infomaniak, Switzerland). We use PostgreSQL for the database and Redis for caching, both running in isolated Docker containers with automatic HTTPS via Caddy.
